Problem
The customer stops paying and stops answering
Every rental operator has vehicles out with someone who has gone quiet. On supported hardware you can immobilise the engine remotely and release it the moment the account is settled, and you always know where the vehicle is standing. The command is role-gated to operators and admins of the company that owns the vehicle, and every attempt is written to the command history with who sent it and what the device replied — which is what you need if the conversation later becomes a dispute.
Problem
A vehicle is stolen
Live position, trip history and geofences work together here. The map tells you where it is now; the history tells you where it went and where it stopped, address by address; a geofence around your operating area tells you it left before anyone notices a missing vehicle at the depot. A public share link puts the live position in front of the police without giving them an account on your platform.
Problem
Branches and franchisees who should not see each other
A company in Moon can contain other companies, several levels deep. Each branch or franchisee gets its own account with its own users, sees only its own vehicles, and you see all of them from the parent. Nobody has to be trusted with a filter, and you do not end up running one platform account per site with a spreadsheet holding it together.
Problem
Servicing on guesswork instead of distance
Service intervals run on the distance the tracker recorded, so a moped that did 3,000 km last month is serviced before one that sat outside a flat. Each vehicle keeps its own record of work done, and a scheduled report puts the week's mileage per vehicle in the workshop's inbox without anyone logging in to build it.
